The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and dark forces increasing in influence within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as key figures in House Halovar could help the party enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners tables.

Fans can look forward to finding out which players will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
